I have just done my first design to submit to Threadless and they have just accepted it for scoring! (oooh it is actually quite exciting).

Flattering as it is that someone likes your work, it is taking it a bit too far when they try and pass it off as their own and submit it to Tumblr’s Theme Garden!

Both my Vanilla Pod theme (http://www.tumblr.com/theme/4969) and my Retro Pod theme (http://www.tumblr.com/theme/4627), both already in Tumblr’s Theme Garden, have been resubmitted into the Theme Garden by the user “the-girls” (http://www.tumblr.com/themes/by/the-girls). They have called my Vanilla Pod theme “No Men” (http://www.tumblr.com/theme/26382) and have renamed my Retro Pod theme “One Girl Show” (http://www.tumblr.com/theme/26383). Other than the unashamed plagiarism they even had the cheek to mark them as their own copyright!!!!

Also not appreciating them renaming them with sexist twaddle.

Camilla Wellton is one of my favourite designers as her designs are just exquisite. Her silhouettes are really original with an amazing cut and tailoring but most most of all I am enamoured with the slightly surreal “urban mythology” flavour of a her signature look, emphasized in the styling and photography.

I love the cut of this Gaiia coat made all the more special by the moleskin fabric.
